Yeah, Luke's a tough one. You can't exactly assume that he's going to get A10 Justice, but at the same time, you can't assume that he'll NEVER get A10 Justice. I'd probably say, though, you won't get both LFAs and both Justices, no one is so stupid to kill Leia if both LFAs have already been played. So if Leia is left alive, I don't think Luke's ceiling is that high, even with well-played IWNFY. Now, well played IWNFY + Leia's death + Justice = High Ceiling, but it's so hard to come by.

I could agree that Palpy has the highest ceiling, even higher than Maul's, but to get that Palpy needs a near-perfect draw. Maul, on the other hand, achieves a high ceiling through a variety of draws, it doesn't need to be perfect.

I could also agree that Obi-Wan has a high ceiling as well. As I stated, I hadn't thought through it all very carefully, and even then, there's some debate there.

Applying the Ceiling-Floor concept to deck design, a good example came out the other night in a 2v2 game. Grand Moff Tarkin pretty much dominated the game vs 2 formidable Jedi in Quinlan and Assajj. After the game one of the players on the losing side questioned whether or not Tarkin should be capable of such a good game. But here's the thing: Tarkin has 14 HP, a Yellow Deck and a single power defense card. This automatically means his ceililng is very low. We've seen plenty of games where he gets wiped out early before doing anything. If he had a mediocre ceiling, he would be a bad deck -- Good if everything goes right, mediocre-to-bad otherwise. How much fun would that be to play? We need to offset Tarkin's low ceiling with some powerful cards, and that makes his ceiling high, but so what? All in all, he's still a pretty weak deck. We've done the same thing with Lando, who often gets killed before doing anything. But when everything goes right for him, he's very very good.
