Separatist, you really have to answer these questions for yourself.  I enjoy your enthusiasm for the game but we're all pretty "talked out" on this stuff.  The 10YA Tournament threads will show you what people think of tweaking these decks, it's all there and was kind of the last conversation to be had on this stuff, at least for me.  Even prior to that, those who believe Yoda needs to be tweaked have tweaked him.  Those who don't, have not.

Dooku and Mace are solid Tier 2 decks that need no tweaks.  You can even find comments asking why anyone would tweak these decks when they're good the way they are.  That stated, I personally find them more fun by adding "Draw a card" to GIVE ORDERS and making MASTERFUL FIGHTING into an A6, and both tweaks are used by my group (among a slew of others to take these decks to Tier 1, where we like them).  I don't think these changes would make either deck overpowered or even Tier 1, just a little stronger than they already are.

Yoda is Tier 1 in 1v1, a fact based off 1v1 results, and Tier 2 in 2v2, the consensus reached during 10YA Tournament discussions.  Whether or not that needs to change is up to you.  There were some ideas on how to weak him in the 10YA discussion but ultimately, we decided to leave him where he is.

My Geektopia group plays 2v2 exclusively and believes Yoda should be Tier 1, so we've tweaked him accordingly.  We made those tweaks for our games and discussed them only among each other.  The tweaks are available for anyone else who wants to use them but we really don't care if anyone does or not so long as Yoda works for us.

Personally, I'm trying to get all the decks to tier 2, which I pointed out in the OP.  I haven't  REALLY decided if  that's for 1 v 1 than 2 v 2 though. I'll take a look at the discussion in the 10YA section.  What I'd like to do is to balance him for BOTH, but maybe that's not possible/practical.

To clarify what I mean by "balanced"... obviously some decks will be better in certain matchups, or in certain situations, and I think that's fine.  But I don't like how in the hasbro game some decks were better in almost every situation.  To give you an example, Emp is probably better than Maul, but the two decks are balanced with each other.  They do different things.  Sometimes you prefer one or the other, depending on the situation.  Emp is probably better a little more often, but not much.  By contrast, you'd never, ever prefer to take Jango over Obi.  Obi is just 'better" any way you look at it.  I guess what I'm getting at is, is Yoda in his current form plain out "better" or plain out "worse" than the tier 2 decks (I will, of course, need to balance my own customs, but that's another issue).  I wasn't really looking for a huge debate either, just looking for your thoughts on where exactly he ranks and what could be/needs to be done to get him to be balanced.

Just out of curiosity, if a Serenity were switched out for a Force Strike, do you think that would make him more or less powerful?  I'm not necessarily going to do that, but I'm curious.
